Recall defect descripton: When driving at low speeds a fault within the software calibration of the engine and transmission control modules may lead to a drop in the engine idle speed when braking or releasing the accelerator. In extreme cases, this may result in the engine cutting out without warning.

Volvo Recall action: Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to upgrade the engine/transmission software.
