How To Service Light Reset in Volvo S40 and V40

For reset the oil service light indicator in your Volvo S40 or V40 (1999 on), follow this 4 steps intructions:

Step 1. Hold down the odometer button (marked with “A” above)

Step 2. Turn on the ignition so all the lights on the dash come on

Step 3. Keep holding the odometer button down for 30 secondss or until the service light starts flashing

Step 4. Release the odometer button

And that’s it, your oil service light indicator light should be off!
