Recall defect descripton: On effected petrol and diesel engines a spring clamp on the radiator hose connecting it to the water inlet pipe may be insecure. If not rectified the engine may lose coolant, overheat, seize and suddenly slow the vehicle rapidly to a halt.

Volvo Recall action: Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to have the radiator hose adequately secured.
